A happy new year ! 2017

This is a New Year's card.

In Japan, we send New Year's greetings by postcard to the close people ,and the people who helped me, and old friends.
I also send New Year greetings to those who are reading this blog.

The right edge of the kanji two characters,  "奉觴", is the phrase of the old Chinese poet.

It means that let's raise a glass to the new year.
Whatever year of last year we should raise a glass to the new year, and raise our faces to the future, I think.

I wish to progress to the happy and peaceful world.

For everyone, as it will become a happy and peaceful one year, I hope.

これは年賀状です。

日本では親しい人、お世話になった人、古くからの友人に、葉書で新年の挨拶を送ります。

私は、このブログを読んで下さってる方にも、年賀状を送ります。

右端の漢字2文字は、"奉觴"で古い中国の詩人の言葉です。

それは、乾杯しよう、という意味です。

たとえ去年がどんな年であったとしても、私たちは新しい年に乾杯し、未来に顔を向けるべきだと思います。

私は幸せで平和な世界に向けて進んで欲しいのです。

みなさんにとっても、幸せで平和な一年になりますように。
