A happy new year ! 2018

This is a New Year's card.

In Japan, we send New Year's greetings by postcard to the close people ,and the people who helped me, and old friends.
I also send New Year greetings to those who are reading this blog.

The right edge of the kanji four characters,  "雨香雲淡", is the phrase of the old Chinese poet.

It means that the rain falls quietly, as the scent drifts, the clouds are bright, but they are slightly unseen.

It is expressing the scenery of spring, but expecting change of something.

The raining will wash away everything.

The shining clouds are predicting the sun that shines soon.
The old time will soon come to an end and the new time will start.
I made a opus as the expectation of a new time in this phrase.

For everyone, as it will become a good one year, I hope.

これは年賀状です。

日本では親しい人、お世話になった人、古くからの友人に、葉書で新年の挨拶を送ります。

私は、このブログを読んで下さってる方にも、年賀状を送ります。

右端の漢字4文字は、"雨香雲淡"で古い中国の詩人の言葉です。

それはこんな意味です、雨は静かに降る、まるで香りが漂うように、雲は輝く、でも見えないぐらいに淡く。

それは春の景色を表していながら、何かが変わることを期待させています。

降り続く雨は全てを洗い流すでしょう。

輝く雲は、やがて照らす太陽を予感させています。

もうすぐ古い時間が終わりを告げ、新しい時間が始まるのでしょう。

新しい時間への期待を込めて、この詩句を書きました。

みなさんにとっても、新たな一年が良き年になりますように。
